Details
Walking around the country lanes Rachel notices how the hedgerows are fading, the colours are starting to tone down and the stems are dwindling and the flowers all seeds. Theres a unique beauty here ! Uncultivated hedgerows and field margins with textures of cow parsley, teasel, the tendrils of something half-forgotten.

Rendered in delicate graphite and soft washes against a pale, luminous ground, Wild Flower Arrangement has the feeling of a botanical study made by someone who truly loves the subject. The stems are fine and precise, the seed heads weightless, the whole composition balanced between fragility and strength.

Hang this in your home and it brings a sense of quiet. Of slowing down. It is the kind of painting that suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or anywhere you want to feel calm and grounded. Understated and beautiful, it works with almost any interior.
