Details
Made in response to the ancient geology of the Cornish coastline, Rock Work is a deeply textured mixed media painting that describes the grain of granite, the layering of sediment, the way rock holds light differently at every hour of the day.

Working with acrylic, printed papers and mark-making, Rachel builds a composition that is abstract yet entirely grounded in the physical world of her home coastline. Earthy ochres, dark charcoals and warm neutrals sit alongside moments of unexpected colour, held together by the same patient attention she brings to studying the rocks themselves.

This is a giclée fine art print of the original mixed media work, printed on premium paper to museum quality. Each print is produced to order and ships flat, ready to frame.
Poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish. Scratch, crack, and warp resistant.
Vibrant, long-lasting colors with water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection.
Solid wooden frame from renewable sources, 4 cm deep.
