Inspired by the rock pools and pink granite at Hendra, Rachel's local beach in Cornwall. Looking down into a pool, the granite glows with soft pinks and greys, the water clear and still, with weed, pebbles and light layered beneath the surface.
Built up in textured mixed media, it captures that quiet, absorbing pleasure of crouching over a rock pool at low tide. It sits beautifully with the other paintings in her Coast collection, and would bring a gentle seaside calm to a bathroom, bedroom or hallway.

Materials + Care
For original paintings: painted on canvas or board using acrylic, resin or mixed media. Hang away from direct sunlight and damp. Dust gently with a soft dry cloth. Do not clean with water or solvents. For canvas prints: printed on a poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish, scratch, crack and warp resistant. Wipe gently with a barely damp cloth if needed. For paper prints: printed on premium fine art paper. Handle with care — avoid moisture and direct sunlight to preserve colours.

UK delivery is free on original paintings up to 100cm. Larger or heavier works are delivered by specialist art courier for £75.
