Details
The original is the third of a series of three large flower paintings inspired by a book of drawings by Jim Dine.
It's the boldest of the three, stepping out of the vase and straight into the garden. Three red hot pokers rise tall and proud, their flame-coloured heads full of texture. At their feet, long strappy leaves swoop outwards in dark charcoal, drawn with real speed and energy, while slender blue-grey flower spikes drift between them against a sky of duck-egg blue, sage and sunny yellow, as if a breeze is blowing straight through the picture.
Choose from four sizes, unframed or in an oak or white frame.
Printed to order and posted to you, ready to hang.
Poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish.
Scratch, crack and warp resistant.
Vibrant, long-lasting colours with water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection.
Stretched over a solid wooden bar from renewable sources, 4cm deep.
