Oil on canvas · 80 × 80cm · framed
A Cornish garden border in full bloom, with tall irises rising above a tumble of leaves and flowers. Rachel lives surrounded by plants, on the site of her family's garden centre, and this painting celebrates that moment in early summer when a border is at its fullest and most generous.
Painted in rich oils on a generous square canvas, it brings the colour and energy of a garden indoors, and would make a joyful centrepiece in a living room, kitchen or garden room.
Original, one of a kind. Signed by the artist.
Materials + Care
For original paintings: painted on canvas or board using acrylic, resin or mixed media. Hang away from direct sunlight and damp. Dust gently with a soft dry cloth. Do not clean with water or solvents. For canvas prints: printed on a poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish, scratch, crack and warp resistant. Wipe gently with a barely damp cloth if needed. For paper prints: printed on premium fine art paper. Handle with care — avoid moisture and direct sunlight to preserve colours.
