Cove with Large White Boulder. Canvas print

A bold, luminous work from Rachel’s Cove series, painted in response to Rinsey, her favourite cove on the Cornish coast. The great white boulders are special; characters of the cove, worn smooth by centuries of tide, its form both monumental and strangely tender.

Working in mixed media with acrylic and layered mark-making, Rachel builds a composition alive with movement, the deep cobalt of the sea, the warmth of sand and stone, the graphic energy of the boulder’s curved white form set against shifting colour. Abstract in approach yet rooted entirely in place, this is a painting about the feeling of standing at the cove’s edge, the world reduced to rock, water and light.

This is a giclée print of the original mixed media work, printed on premium canvas to museum quality. Each print is produced to order and ships ready to hang.
