Two of Rachel's great loves meet in this painting: life drawing and rock climbing. A climber reaches and stretches across the surface, the figure drawn with the confident, searching line of the life room, while fresh greens and layered mixed media suggest the rock face and the open air around it.
It captures the strength, balance and concentration of a climb, the moment when body and rock are working together. It pairs beautifully with its companion piece, Climber Red, and would suit a hallway, a study or anyone who loves the outdoors.
Original, one of a kind. Signed by the artist.
Materials + Care
For original paintings: painted on canvas or board using acrylic, resin or mixed media. Hang away from direct sunlight and damp. Dust gently with a soft dry cloth. Do not clean with water or solvents. For canvas prints: printed on a poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish, scratch, crack and warp resistant. Wipe gently with a barely damp cloth if needed. For paper prints: printed on premium fine art paper. Handle with care — avoid moisture and direct sunlight to preserve colours.
