Quarry With Sulphur Rising
Mixed media on canvas. 50 x 50 x 3 cm (framed)
Whilst motor homing around the South Island of New Zealand, the panoramas were incredible and you could paint there for a lifetime without needing to search for inspiration. This is just one view that I had to capture; the intensity of the energies in the skies hovering over the tranquil but highly colourful quarry was a contrast not to ignore. This piece is framed.
