Runner Up in the Amazing Abstracts Competition

I am delighted to announce that my painting Rock Work was a runner-up and amongst the top twenty artists out of thousands who submitted their work in the Amazing Abstracts Competition

Rock Work

The top twenty artists' work will be featured in an A6 staple-bound booklet, and a 2025 printed calendar, designed and printed by Lyndon Watkinson, will also be produced. Rock Work is also included in an online exhibition that runs from November 15th to December 15th 2024.

The judge of the competition was John Thornton, an American painter and artist videographer, and the curator of the Amazing Abstracts Competition was abstract painter Phil McCumskey.

The Amazing Abstracts Competition was created due to the limited number of open calls for abstract art events, and it is hoped that the competition will be a yearly event offering seasoned artists, as well as beginners, the opportunity to showcase their work.
